JAZZ CD PICK OF THE WEEK - BOOKER ERVIN

This weeks Jazz CD Pick of the Week is a recent purchase from the highly underrated tenor sax player Booker Ervin. This cd is titled Structurally Sound and features some classics standards as well as many other hip tunes. Now for some reason Booker is not as widely known as some of his peers but I think he is just as talented. I think Booker just came along in an era where he was overshadowed by some of the more dominant sax players of the day.  Here's Booker performing the classic tune Stolen Moments which is one of many great cuts on this cd.
